Another great day in DC for our 2022 OCHS Seniors. We experienced the power and patriotism of Arlington National Cemetery, where over 400,000 servicemen and women are buried. They witnessed the Changing of the Guard and toured the historical Arlington house. They were also able to tour Ford’s Theatre—the site of the President Lincoln assassination.





Lady Owls Softball Game Day!


The Remake Learning Fair at OCHS Gymnasium will be postponed until after testing is completed in the district. We will post the new date and time soon and still look forward to having you!

Lots of sights seen for OCHS Seniors today including memorials to Lincoln, WWII and Vietnam at the National Mall, the National Archives (home of the Dec. of Ind. and Constitution), Ford’s Theater, the American History Smithsonian, and the U.S. Holocaust Museum!





OCHS Focus Skills for week of April 25th


Tonight’s game against Red Bird has been cancelled due to field conditions


OCHS Class of 2022 seniors arrived at Washington D.C. today to start Senior Trip. First stops were the White House and Washington Monument!



Make sure to tune in to WJSN at 5:45 this evening! Head Coach, Wade Caudell, will be speaking about his OCHS Volleyball program and student-athletes.

OCMS Focus Skills for week of April 25th


Owsley County HS hosts our regional King of the Mountain final chess tournament of the year! Five rounds make for a long day. Thanks for those students and parents who have helped out today and provided food and drinks! Go Owls!



On Monday, a group of OCHS students traveled with GEAR UP to visit Somerset Community College's technical campus in London, KY before heading on down the road to the Somerset Lineman Tech Center. Some were ready to apply to the program that very day!




Owls win 17-2 against Cordia. Congratulations to 7th grader Andrew Terry on his first career varsity win.
