Congratulations to our OCHS Cheer Team as they finished Runner-Up today in the KHSAA Competitive Cheer Coed Region 7 Competition! They will be advancing to the State competition in December.

Today at OCHS, proficient and distinguished certificates were presented to students for their hard work and performance on the spring 2025 Kentucky Summative Assessment for Science. Great job, Owls!

We would like to wish the best of luck to our OCHS Cheer Team as they compete tomorrow in their regional competition.

Earlier this evening, OCMHS students enjoyed the Halloween Dance, Haunted Hallway and Breakout Room, which were sponsored by the OCHS Beta Club.

Today at OCHS, Mrs. Hall's 10th grade Biology students completed a Gallery Walk of student work products related to human body systems--The lesson creates differentiated opportunities, student dialogue, and multiple ways that students can demonstrate skills mastery.

Owsley County Middle School Girls Volleyball Tryout Session #2 - 10/29/2025 4:00-6:00 - Family Life Center Students must have a KHSAA physical prior to participating. Open to Grades 5-8.

Guest speaker, Frank Crawford, came to speak to 7th, 10th, and 12th grade OCHS students about the importance of making decisions. Thanks to FRYSC Director, Jenny Barrett, for coordinating and bringing him to our school.
